Prototype2 added
Week 1 Changes:
- added tutorial signs
- added double jump
- added walking carrot enemy
- added enemy spawn animations
- added 2 new levels (not final)
- slightly updated sprites (test)
- enemies do not die in one hit anymore (added health)
- crouching allows the player to be undetected by enemies
- reaching a certain area will take the player to the next level
Week 2 Changes:
- added health bar
- added white shader effect when enemy is hit
- added blinking effect when player gets hit (player also does not die in one hit anymore)
- pineapple loses health if he falls off the map (and then teleports back)
- pineapple will now teleport back if you press SHIFT
- added new enemy (flying turnip)
- added moving platforms (only up and down)
- added coin drops when you kill enemies
- added chests that can be found in each level that drop coins
- added a 3rd level
- finished level 2 (though still not final)
- added a small cutscene after the tutorial level (test)
- slightly adjusts certain attributes of enemies
- carrot no longer walks off the platform
Current Known Issues:
- Pineapple AI acts on his own if player crouches and presses a movement option
- flying turnip AI sometimes tends to stick to the ground a lot
- flying turnip AI still detects the player when he crouches. The main problem is, it's impossible to dodge him if he reaches the player's vicinity because the turnip AI will not leave until he hits the player
- rolling enemy hit-box slightly too big
- objects like player/enemies do not stay grounded on moving platforms (ends up looking like it's bouncing intensely)
- no indication on where the end of the level is
- Player health doesn't show up after losing a life
